Deduction of hra and 80d not accepted by employer

30 December 2016 Dear All
I am salaried employee my employer provide me HRA. Also i am eligible to avail HRA deduction u/s 10(13A) and deduction of 80D. But inspite being eligible employer does not provide the deduction of HRA and 80D however even i have tried to convince my employer to consider both these deductions. But he is not ready for that. Pls clarify can i approach income tax commissioner to complain for not to provide the dediction and deducting excess TDS is there any such rule governed in income tax to impose the penalty on deducting excess TDS

Pls tell me can i obtain certificate under section 197 if so?

Also tell me weather the employer must have to comply with the certificate if voilated by employer then AO may penalise the emplyer or not

30 December 2016 Certificate u/s 197 is for lower/nil deduction. Don't have confrontation with your employer.

30 December 2016 Sir i know this is the certificate for lower/non tds deduction. I know to know can i obtain this certificate?

What to do if the employer deducting excess tds is this not the voilation of income tax
