One of my friend as taken COP along with firm name from ICAI.
Now he has got a job in one of Big 4 on salary basis.
My query is that whether he has to return his COP & surrender the firm name Or he can only surreneder the firm name and keep the COP ?

He has to Surrender the COP and if any of his friends want to practise on his name he can keep the firm name ., else he has to surrender that also
