18 November 2011 I am registered under Composition scheme. Now i want to opt out of the scheme and get registered under the normal scheme please tell me the procedure for the same under Maharashtra Value Added Tax.

In all states generally the procedure is you file a letter to the office of your area vat officer declaring your change of option along with your original RC/copy, with effect from the first of next month.The vat officer should issue an endorsement agreeing to your request and return your RC by amending it suitably.If they do not reply also you can take it as accepted.Before change over you should ensure that all returns due till that date are filed and taxes paid.
