04 June 2011 can a practicing CA become a director in private company or not?
also clear me remuneration point?

04 June 2011 According to me a practicing CA can be director of a company but the audit report can not be signed by that CA as per remuneration is as usual.

07 June 2011 As per chartered accountant regulation a CA can be director in a company without any prior permission but only intimation, but appointment as WTD or MD require prior approval of council, also compliace of sec 226 of companies act is necessary...
