Hello Sir
One of my client is MANDIR ( Charatable Trust). but its not register u/s 12A/12AA. means it is simple trust not registered in 80 G deduction..
now i want to know that what will be status of this trust as per income tax point of view... means which ITR i file for this trust (mandir)
beacuse when i fill ITR 7 (which is applicable on Trust return)....than Income tax department (delhi office) refuse to accept this ITR 7 and said that only trust which is registered u/s 12/12AA will fill ITR 7.
please answer my question as soon as possible

This is called private trust and you will file ITR-5 for this.

Form can be used a person being a firm, AOP, BOI, artificial juridical person referred to in section 2(31)(vii), cooperative society and local authority
You should look at the status of the trust whether it is a registered as company etc.

ITR FORMS change fromm year to year.. so you dont bother about forms n all. Just see the status of the trust and accordingly you will have to file ITR.
