I have cleared CA before i got married n now i want to apply for membership no..so can i apply for with my new lastname which is different than my CA result. if yes, what is procedure ??

Do you have any new id... I think if you willattach all this with proper proof..icai will allow this

1. Change the name first. Documents required are :-
*Letter seeking name change
*Copy of marriage certificate
*Copy of marriage registration certificate
*An affidavit sworn in before a 1st class magistrate/notary public.
*Send the above to the regional council office of ICAI.
2. Apply for membership after name got changed.
*Letter seeking name change
*Copy of marriage certificate
*Copy of marriage registration certificate
*An affidavit sworn in before a 1st class magistrate/notary public.
*Send the above to the regional council office of ICAI.
