16 August 2016 what Will be the fate of cess levied by state government's agricultural market committee on cotton,cotton waste, after the commencement of G S T act.

20 September 2016 state govt surcharge and cess will be replaced by GST.
You need to find out with the respective APMC if the same is levied by State Govt or other wise.
recently there was a big agitation by the APMC at the introduction of sale by farmers to customers directly and abolishing the value chain of brokers in APMC
