Please provide the details for car hire charges/renting of motor vehicle in respect of service tax chargeability

Reverse charge is applicable on renting of any motor vehicle designed to carry passengers if the service provider is an individual, HUF or a partnership firm.
Accordingly the service recipient has to pay the service tax.
Service tax amount = Rental charges*40%*12.36%
