15 January 2009 All transaction pertaining to the firm from the proprietory accounts should be reflected in the Partner's Capital account as appearing in the books of accounts of the firm and the account of the firm in the books of the proprietor. At the year end the closing balance of the partner's capital account should correspond to the balance in the Proprietor's books.
