31 March 2010 My Company has closed commercial operations since past one year. But I understand NIL TDS returns have to be filed if we possess a TAN.

This is very inconvenient.

What can be done ?

31 March 2010 Nil TDS return is not mandatory, So no need to worry. if the business is not there you can surrender the TAN
