Can properitor deduct tds as per section 194i

14 May 2016 a proprietor paid rent for our business premises rs. 45000 pm . is liable to deduct tds of rent paid by him

14 May 2016 According to sec. 194I TDS must be deducted if rent paid is more than Rs. 180000/- p.a. Individual and HUF are liable to deduct the TDS if there books of accounts are audited under section 44AB.
In your case the yearly rent will be above Rs 180000/- so individual can deduct tax.
