Can i claim tds of 2012-13 in current year?

27 August 2015 Hi,

Can I claim TDS (194J) of financial year 2012-13 in current year?

My form 26AS shows XXXXX Amount credit in financial year 2012-13.

I have not filed income tax return for that year also.

I am filing income tax return for current year, so can I claim the TDS of financial year 2012-13 in current financial year?

Please guide.

27 August 2015 Yes, you can do so.
Fill the columns in the return appropriately.
For ITR 4.. sheet TDS,... item 18C1..put under "unclaimed TDS brought forward (b/f)
