Can 80g donations made in children name claimed by parent?

30 July 2018 It is important to note that who has made donation. If the parent has made the donation(through cheque if the amount exceeded Rs 2000) in the name of children, then the parent can claim the deduction. Even if the minor child has made the donation and his income is clubbale in the hands of parent, then he/she can claim the deduction.
