13 June 2010 Can you guide a simple way of preparing Bank Reconcialiaton statememt with imaginary figures for the month of april. Based on that, balance 11 months will be prepared by me. kindly guide.

Balance as per your Book Rs.1000
Add: Cheque issued by you but not presented in the Bank Rs. 500
Less: Cheques received and deposited by you but not yet cleared and credited in your account Rs. 200
Less: Bank charges and othrs charges debited by bank and not yet accounted by you Rs. 50

So Actual Balance in Bank Rs.1250

13 June 2010 is the balance Rs. 1000 closing for march and opening bal for april. There is diff. between bank book and company book, since some chq were not cleared on 31.3. Kindly clarify.

15 June 2010 Since issued cheque not come for clearing the difference of Bank and Book is naturarllay come.
