I do not have knowledge abt stock market, can u provide me basic knowledge on stock market to understand it and what other things I do to gain knowledge on it ?

What does SENSEX and STOCK INDEX means and how they fluctuates , what r there effect on the market?

as per sec 40A(3) , considering the amendment by the finance act 2008. A payment or aggregate of payments made to a party in a single day in excess of Rs. 20000 in cash is 100% dissallowed. (earlier a single payment in excess of 20000 by cash is dissallowed , n that too 20 %). it is clearly visible by the amendment that aggregate of payments or a single payment in cash in excess of Rs. 20000 is dissallowd.
My problem is - since the amendment n its objectives r clearly visible, a client of ours says that if he recieves 2 bills, both of them Rs. 20000 n He makes payment to them in cash on the same day , although the aggregate will be more than 20000, he says it is comletely allowed.
How could it be ??? as the amendment clearly says payment or aggregate of payments......... plzz resolve ..... is he right or am i right???

I f the Pvt. Company want to remove the director by force than what is the care to be taken for removing the same. and what is the remedies available to removed director to file any kind of the penal or any other action against the company.
what is the penalties applicable to the continuing director if they found the officer in default.in forceabley removing the director.

1. The unit is enjoying SSI exemption notification. Now the exemtion limit crossed. During 07-08 the turnover was below 1.50 Crores and in that year it acquired capital goods with a cenvat of around Rs. 3 Lacs. As now the limit crossed whether the cenvat of Rs. 3 lacs can now be taken into accout for payment of duty.

2. Whether goods manufactured for capitive usage ie., moulding boxes is treated as value for the purpose of 1.50 crores exemption or to be included.

3. Whether Sales rejection is to be considered for 1.50 crores exemption.
