i wana know that u/s 194 c of TDS ON CONT. The words representing a contract exceeding rs. 20000 and aggregate of rs 50000. what is a meaning of that iam confused regarding a (PAYMENT or CONTRACT VALUE ).

i have some question ragarding this ..

1.A company makes 2 contract with a contractor of rs. 19000 each so is TDS SHOULD BE DEDUCTED OR NOT ?

2. A CO. MAKES A CONTRACT OF 49000 AND PAYMENT IS DONE RS. 20000 , 20000, 9000 EACH SO WHT SHOULD DO IN THIS CASE?

3. A CO. MAKES A CONTRACT OF 21000?

4. A CO. MAKES 2 CONTRACTS OF 23000 EACH ??


PLZ CAN ANY ONE SOLVE MY PROBLEM ??

I have a query on service tax. I have an invoice for support charges for remote aceess concurrent users for wondows.I booked this expense in services charges and now I want to know that I should take modvat on services tax or not.

I am working in private contractor firm. Here they are paying weekly payments. Our auditor warns us not to make voucher which exceed Rs.20k. And also same name labour should not repeat.

How it is possible to maintain like above, as such for ex. painter labour will exceed around 50k per month. And he continues to next 3 to 4 months. How it is possible to account acc. to TDS limited to Rs.20k.

Please give me suggestion in this area particularly so as to come over from this head ache.
