How can we adjust the same?

Can we adjust the same against the payment for Q1 F Y 2009-10?

Can we get refund of the same?

what is the difference between exise duty and sales tax as they are paid together on the same amount? who are liable to pay them and when. i have seen both tax are added in the same sales invoice on the same amount at different rates.

1)can i file my return after march 2009. of A.Y.: 2007-08 AND A.Y.: 2008-09 ,my income was below taxable limit.

2) Rs. 5000/- late payment penalty applicable for me. ? for above A.Y.2007-08 AND A.Y.:2008-09.
