I want to know what is the difference in the computation of depreciate calculated on the basis of Income Tax vis-a-vis the Companies Act.

How do you account for the difference in the cash flow statement, so that the balance sheet and cash flow matches?

Also, what would be the depreciation rate for a golf simulator via both the methods (WDV).

firm has going to wind up his business and it sold all his assets. firm has shown Rs 16275202 as profit on sale of fixed Asset (land) in his accounts like W.D.V Rs. 1106298 and Sale Rs. 17381500 but actual gain show as Rs 10078282 due to indexed cost like Sale Rs. 17381500 and indexed cost Rs. 7216310 and 86908 (expenditure on transfer). please help me whether this treatment is wrong or right

Statutory auditor of one of the companies has joined hands with directors of company to cook up books of accounts. Audit report is being prepared on manipulated books of accounts.Bank's and customer's lot of money (in crores)is being put at stake.
we talk about integrity, independence,corruption free society and what not.But it hurts me when few people for the sake of money maling the name of profession.
what should be done from my end.Should i just mind my own work and donot interfer or should i do something about it.

If a practicing Chartered Accountant provides coaching for account and taxation, is he required to get register the name of coaching with ICAI or any other body?
