i registered with icai 12 years back...as i was very sincere and hard working student ...and that hope came true when i cleared my ist group of intermediate ...and just loose my 2nd group for 12 marks...and dont kw y ...still i am trying to clear it ..and honestly working hard but cant able to clear it....y so...pls help me...and i am weak in info tech papper pls suggest a good book so that i can score good marks....am wooried that this may is the LAST CHANCE for pe2.....

I m working as a accountant in a private firm.one of our employee paying rent to the authorised person of NRI(owner).there is no rent receipt and PAN no of NRI available.In this case, is only affidavit given by employee sufficent stating the rent paid by him or not?
Means can he avail hra claim or not on the basis of affidavit given by him?
Becouse PAN no of landlord is madatory, Where as PAN no is not available in the above case..also tell me if the PAN no of landlord is not available then what proof has to be given to avail hra claim??

A company get into agreement to provide ATM and ATM services to a bank for 5yrs.
now after two yrs bank want to terminate agreement and ready to pay compensation in 45 monthly installmnets. balance period of contract is 36months.. the company receiving compensation from bank need to know how they will account compensation.. whether they need to account full compensation current year or on receipt of compensation by insatllment. they made a agreement to get compensation 45 installments. pls advice
