If LIC agent commission received more than 5.00 lac. How to calculate their income u/s 57.

I am b.com final year student and I have given the final exam. If I take provisional registration to ipcc now, may I attend may 2014 exam?
At first how much amount of demand draft needed for provisional registration?
what are the other documents needed for this registration?

on bill of modelling charges, tds is to be deducted on contract or on professional charges.

models were hired from a modelling agency for a photo shoot

We have been paying office rent of Rs.25000 every month from April without deducting TDS.
we pass accrual entry on month end. however payment is made in the next month beginning.

in case i want to deduct and remit TDS from June, what will be the interest to be paid for April and May month TDS??

Dear Experts,

My query is regarding erroneous understating of closing stock in FY 2009-10. The assessee got his BOA audited u/s 44AB, but neither the CA nor the assessee could find that error in which his closing stock was taken short by Rs.190,000. His that year's stock statement shows the following figures:

His op St was 260000
Purchases 135000
Sales 75000
Cl st shown 130000 (it shud hv been 320000)

Now during his assessment in sales tax dept. this error has come out, and he wants to know what can be done?? We cannot revise his income tax return, nor we can show different figures in income tax dept and sales tax dept.


Plz advise what shud we do to avoid adverse consequences???
