Service tax credit

i am c.h.a member i am paying commission to other c.h.a he is working for me he charge me rs 90 +service tax of rs.11 and i charge to my party commission rs 450+ s.t.rs 56 .can i get set off of rs 11 s.t.paid by me to other c.h.a. ?

Termination of articles

I am doing my articles in hyderabad,I am unable to work here due to small medical reasons and unable to adjust here,by the end of dis september,i am going to complete one year of my articleship,i want to take termination in the current firm and about to join new firm in my home town,as i feel comfirtable in my home town with my parents.Is it necessary to mention reason to institute,and so what reason should i mention for the above said things,and wat are forms 102 & 103? pls give me details

Change of cwa syallabus

dear i'm haresh preparing for cwa inter 2008 syllabus due to the change of syllabus i.e.,2012 syllabus do i need to follow the material of 2012 syllabus i'm confused and worring,because i already read the old syllabus [2008] now it is new for me to follow the new syallabus as one of my sir that even 2008 syllabus students should follow 2012 syallbus for exams give me reply as early as possible because exams are getting near.

Delay in submitting condonation letter

Please Help its urgent, I received notice from ICAI on 2/2/2013 but could not reply then received reminder in april at that time my CA said that he will look up my case later on then I was appeared for exams of ca final in may and later on I joined gmcs classes and after that also he again said he will write condonation letter later on but not now. finally I submitted condonation letter with 1000 rupees penalty in august but when I confirmed through E-shahyeta they said my application is in process but there are 3 allegations on me 1. breach of regulation 65 2. non-compliance of regulation 3. delay in sending response of reminder...I m very scared..please remove my doubt whether they can cancel my registration of ca. I cannt reveal that the delay is all because of my ca

Ltcg on sale of residential house

One of my client has sold 10 year old residential house. There is LTCG also, by applying Cost Inflation Index. He has taken 50% amount in his account & rest in his wife's bank account. Question is:-
(1) Is there any problem in taking amount like this?
(2) What formality he has to fulfill for coming 3 years to claim exemption u/s 54(F) as he wants to invest the same in another residential house. Please advice.

Capital gain: exemption u/s 54

dear experts,
Mr. A own one house since 1995..
in may 2012 he entered into an agreemnet to purchase another flat under construction linked payment plan..

in august, 2013 he sold his old house and capital gain comming out to be Rs. 25 lacs..

installments of Rs. 30 lacs are still due toward the purchase of new flat..

now my question is , whether Mr. A claim exemption of Rs. 25 lacs under section 54..
as he entered into a agreement to purchase new house much before than 1 year..

Income tax

Hello

I want to know that while computation on income tax for an individual- if the property is given on rent. What will tax liability for the individual

. If the individual was doing his business. So the income from that property should be added only in “ income from House Property “ or it also to be included in “Income from other Sources” as it comes other income in profit and loss A/c-( F.Y. 2011-12)


Kindly guide me for the actual computation of Income

Interest exemption for income tax

SIR,
PLEASE CLARIFY THE FOLLOWING :

ONE OF OUR STAFF HAS BUILT A HOUSE.

NOW HE HAS TAKEN A HOME LOAN TO CONSTRUCT THE FIRST FLOOR ON THE EXISTING GROUND FLOOR.
THE CAPITAL BORROWED FOR FIRST FLOOR IS RS.3750000-00. THE BANK HAS GIVEN STATEMENT TO CLAIM INTEREST FOR EXEMPTION OF INCOME TAX. INTEREST IS RS.331698.05 AND PRINCIPLE IS RS.183,557.95.

THE GROUND FLOOR IS SELF OCCUPIED AND FIRST FLOOR IS GIVEN FOR REST FOR RS.8000-00 PER MONTH.


SIR PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW MUCH EXEMPTION HE MAY GET ON BANK INTEREST.
