Is Chartered Accountent is authorised to Sign Audite Report if he possess perscribed qualification. IF "yes" so how and if "No" so why.

Dear Sir,
I wanted to know whether Min period of 9 Mths reqd. for Industrial Training is including Extension period? As my articleship period remaining is only 8 mths, but as I have taken excess leave I will have 2 do an extension of around 3 Mths. So am I eligible 4 Industrial Training or not?
