Can you tell me in which circumstances we can issue a debit/credit note? can we issue a debit note against short receiving of goods or against rejection of material?

i got the procedure for surrender of registration certificate and as per the procedure i had created a login ID and password on the site but after login a screen appears i click on "REG" but in that menu only three options are coming 1)Fill NON assessee 2)fill ST1 Form 3)change password there is no option for surrender of password,
is there any mistake m making? please help?

Please tell me whether the date of termination will be considered as a day worked or excluded from 3.5yrs?
For eg. Date of comm. Is 16/04/2008.
date of termination is 02/09/2008.
date of re-registration is 03/09/2008. Now is there any break in articles? Will 02/09/2008 be treated as day worked or not worked? Will it be counted in my articleship term?

I passed Ipcc 1st group in May 2010 and second group there after.Before registration of articleship, I registered my M.com course in private and I'm not mentioned the course details at the time of training registration and I'm not filed form 112 also.
Now I passed M.com.Is it required to inform to the Institute about my M.com and pass details?
Please help me.....

i am a pcc student and in articles.
i have the doubt accounting treatment,

if accounts are maintaining in cash basis. (ie,. income and expenditure, receipt and payments accounts and balance sheet,the amount deducted from service provider as a tds which has not been deposited with concerned departments.
here i have doubt regarding the accounting treatment of outstanding tds payment till it was not deposited with authority.

postulation of treatment by me
for example
we have taken a service from a service provider.

and paid net amount of Rs.980/- and the deduction of rs.20.



in income and exp

have we to disclose the Rs.1000/- or Rs.980/-.

in case gross amount shown in income and exp what about what is the treatment of Rs.20/-

in balance sheet

have we to disclose outstanding of Rs.20/-.

please kindly give suggestion for me
