I have cleared CA Final in May 2011. I am 20 years and 8 months old. Whether I can apply for membership of CA now or I have to wait for When I become 21 years of age.

i am a pcc student & have completed my 3 1/2 years of training. I am very confused regarding how to fill period in page 1 of the form, as i have served under 2 CA's , one for six months and the other(my present CA) for the rest period till date?
Wether i should fill my whole period or what should i do...really confused....please help?
n also my articleship period ended on 16 july ths month...so till what period should i fill in it?

I have to take transfer of articleship from Raipur to Nagpur. It is my 1st year of articleship and I have completed 5.5 months under my current principal.
My question is - whether prior approval regarding transfer from the institute is needed in my case?
I have heard that approval is required only if we are taking transfer in the same city..

i am facing a problem in solving the case study based on recent amendments.

once after going through all the recent amendments both in dt and idt, i usually fail to identify the related case law while solving the any particular case study.

futher,sometime it happens that i go confuse between two case laws which is exactly applicable for the given case study.

kindly suggest how to solve the case study correctly and will it be sufficient to quote only the name of appellant and defendant in the case law or it should be properly cited alongwith the name of publisher and year of decision?

My elder brother has passed intermediate examination held by ICAI in month November 1988. His roll no. was 03899 and he is having Intermediate Examination Certificate but he has lost the original marks Sheet of the same examination with some other certificates.

Is there any way to obtain the marks sheet of exams held in november 1988. It is important for him.

Please suggest.

I m a CA Final student giving my exams in Nov 2011 attempt. Last 3 months of my articleship is left. Please tell me is it necessary to take initials in examination form from my Principal CA or any CA CAN SIGN THAT FORM. Actually I will not be in my city of articleship during dates of examination form.

if we opt for 44AD, what cash bal should we show in ITR4 or ITR 4S?
Bcos iam maintaining both daybook & ledgers. The cash bal. as per cash book & cash as per B/S (prepared in presumptive basis)differs.
as my net profit is 15% iam having more cash in cash book. shall i continue to enjoy that high cash bal while i pay tax only for 8%
pls clarify.
