Transfer of articleship

29 July 2011 I have to take transfer of articleship from Raipur to Nagpur. It is my 1st year of articleship and I have completed 5.5 months under my current principal.
My question is - whether prior approval regarding transfer from the institute is needed in my case?
I have heard that approval is required only if we are taking transfer in the same city..

30 July 2011 Only after completion of 6 months you can transfer as your place is changed otherwise you are not permitted to transfer. You ar right for the same place transfer
