Can any one give me guideline regarding short notice for call EGM by a public ltd. co. and what may be shortest period for short notice.

Can a shareholder ask for the complete break up of Sundry Debtors or Loans and Advances appearing in the balance Sheet including the amount, dates, purposes etc minute details which are generally not appear in the Balance Sheet or its schedules? Whether company can deny to provide the minute details. If yes on what ground? Shareholder is also asking about the Board resolution sanctioning the outgo of huge amount. Can he do so on the ground the right of shareholders? Please suggest.

X Associates, chennai, Audit firm has been taken over by Y Associates, Delhi and will continue to operate under the name of the latter. X associates is doing audit for few of our private Companies. My doubts are:

Should this change in firm name be noted down in the Minutes of the Pvt Cos? Is there any else that should be done in connection with this?

in munish bhandari ca final law book(latest) slab is given as follows ;

=100 cr - rs.200000

I have pcc notes of accounts where there is 5 slabs i.e. one slab >=25 =50 <100 cr.

please confirm which one is correct and is their any amendment ??
