In case of outdoor catering services, if we raise two bills one for service charges and another for food items separately the ratio is about 40% & 60%. without maintaining any food items stock records and on only services charges we pay service tax at normal rate and availing cenvat credit to pay off the liability.

Pl give your valuable comment on the procedure followed with reference to Service Tax rule & regulations.

For claiming the exemption under small service providers' exemption scheme, is it necessary to file application for exemption every eligible year or a one time application is sufficient?

As per finance bill 2010, cashless medical treatments are under perview of Service tax.

some of hospitals are not registered for service tax. Now they are applying for the same. whether they can charge service tax untill they get the registration from servive tax authorities ?

I want know that whether the Cenvat Credit can be availed on the service tax paid on freight outwards .
In our case The outward freight does not form part of assessable value for Central Excise Duty.
The decesion given by 3 bench tribunal in case of ABB ltd 2009 has been stayed.
Can the credit be taken on the basis of the decesion rendered by BOMBAY High Court in case of COCA COLA india ltd 2009 be taken as basis.
What is the right approach to go ahead as the amount involved is in crores
