For claiming the exemption under small service providers' exemption scheme, is it necessary to file application for exemption every eligible year or a one time application is sufficient?

As per finance bill 2010, cashless medical treatments are under perview of Service tax.

some of hospitals are not registered for service tax. Now they are applying for the same. whether they can charge service tax untill they get the registration from servive tax authorities ?

I want know that whether the Cenvat Credit can be availed on the service tax paid on freight outwards .
In our case The outward freight does not form part of assessable value for Central Excise Duty.
The decesion given by 3 bench tribunal in case of ABB ltd 2009 has been stayed.
Can the credit be taken on the basis of the decesion rendered by BOMBAY High Court in case of COCA COLA india ltd 2009 be taken as basis.
What is the right approach to go ahead as the amount involved is in crores

1. Can the service provider hospital, nursing home or multi speciality clinic avail the exemption of small service provider upto 10 laksh.

2. Whether service tax on Health services should be charged on the entire bill amount including the pharmacy value or can the service tax be charged on the value excluding the pharmacy value

I cannot find the procedure to surrender service tax number of service provider.If i try to surrender through ACES after registration its shows that no ST-1 has been filed.If i file ST-1 Department will consider me as new registration.Please provide me with proper solution as early as possible

OUr client has entered an agreeement for Amc of their Computers (through Residentail Engineers), last month the service provider charged Service Tax @ 10.3% on total bill value, where as this month they have charged 30:70, 30% of bill value they are charging service Tax and again on total value of the bill value they have charged WCT @ 2.8%, can you pls confirm , is there any change in WCT , and from which date.
