Shrikant Gharat.
service provider provides both exempted and taxable output service and does not maintain seperate accounts.
out put service tax is Rs.20000
Input service tax is Rs.16000
How much tax is to be paid?
How much credit will the assessee get?
If whole credit of Rs.16000 is not available then whether the balance credit amount lapse?
hii,
Is there any option whereby the service tax can be paid on accounting basis irrespective of the collection received or not.?
I have heard that Service Tax Input can be availed on accounting basis(as against the normal provision that input can be availed only after the payment for expense is made)if service tax output is paid on accounting basis. Is it true.? Anyone aware of it.?

Hello,
One of my client is an CNF agent. He does the selling on behalf of companies. He get all the expenses reimbursed from the company. He additionally charged commission to the company.
Want to confirm whether we should charged service tax on reimbursement? Please provide the circular if any.
Also to let you know that we charged the service on commission.
Please let me know ASAP.
Thanks,
