11 July 2008 can i revise the service tax return for the half year ended 31st march'08.

i filed the return on 25th April'08

Is there any limitation or penalty?

11 July 2008 There is amendment in Service Tax Rule 7B, wherby the return may be revised within 90 days from the date of submission of the return. The amendment is effective from 01.03.2008. Prior to this the return was revisable in 60 days
