My query is regarding depreciation.as currently we are following W.D.V method for depreciation and want to change to SLM method wef 01-04-2014.under new companies act the useful life of assets have been reduced from 20 yrs to 15 yrs hence,SLM rate comes to 6.33%((100-5)/15)).the SLM rates under the previous companies act was 4.75%. since SLM method of depreciation is to be applied from beginning as it is change in policy so,depreciation upto 31-03-14 is to be recalculated with SLM method.now my question is whether we can apply rate of 6.33% for calculating depreciation for prior period upto 31-03-14.

I have been Ordered a Samsung Tab 3 for an Offer Price of Rupees:13247.6o through Amazone india From a seller Named Majestic shoppe.I have all the order related details in printed format .I paid the Amount Via Debit card In advance .It was Ordered on 15Th december they agreed to deliver the Product on 29 December . Yesterday they cancelled my order with out my knowledge .And send an appology letter regarding that the price they was a mistake from their part so the will initiate a refund .I have all the Evidence regarding the entire Dealing .Now i would like to go For a Redressel for my Order and Mental Agony that i have Faced .I think this was a unfair trade practice Include Misrepresentation or fraud To attract customers towards the store .iam requesting helps from peoples who are Expertise in Legal problems for their valuable tips to strengthen my case.

I am dissolving my partnership firm & I want to start my proprietorship. So, my query is can I use my Shop & establishment license of partnership?? Or I have to take it on Proprietorship?
If I have to renew then what is procedure?

Please suggest me on following point
1.Can only one partner (out of two ) in the partnership firm bear all the risk in a licence based business i,e Trading in Explosives ?

2.Can only one partner out of two possess all the operating rights and powers i.e Like bank transactions etc.

1) I recently purchased an estamp paper for Agreement of Sale. However the name of the first party (seller) and second party (buyer) was interchanged in the estamp paper. Can this stamp paper still be used?

2) In the estamp application sale consideration was not a mandatory field and hence left blank. If the sale consideration is not mentioned in the estamp paper for Agreement of Sale, are there any consequences?

3) It was found that the stamp duty paid was short, can I pay additional stamp duty on the same estamp that is mentioned in 1) above and still use it?
