Hi,

My Managing Director who is a Non Resident Indian would like to take his Managerial Remuneration and Commission in dollars. Is it possible for us to pay the same from the perspective of Income Tax Act and FEMA? The payment is a fixed amount on monthly basis. Please clarify.

An employee earning Rs.5000 p.m.

How will be the bonus calculated?
Whether 5000p.m* 8.33%(or applicable bonus rate)
or
2500p.m*8.33%(or applicable bonus rate)

As per act (ref-ICAI module )salary/wage over & above Rs.2500 is not to be considered for calculation of bonus.

A car which has proper insurance coverage was damaged due to the fall of tree over it by accident. But the inusrer refuses to the claim for the damages caused to the car. On what basis the coverage of insurance for a car is decided? what are the conditions to be satisfied to claim the damages?
