Sir, I am likely to buy a land located in Bangalore belonging to two joint holders who are NRIs. One of the joint holders, the husband, has executed a GPA in favour of his wife (another joint-holder) on a 200 Rs. stamp paper and executed this in front of a Notary. Please advise: 1. Would this GPA entitle one of the joint-holders, (wife) to execute the final sale deed with us solely as the husband is unable to travel to India now? 2. Would a non-registered GPA be accepted as adequate for a sale transaction?

I am a freelancer IT engineer and a citizen of india residing in india. I had deliverd some online lectures to some of the US students from india. Now they want to pay me for my lectures and want more lectures on IT for which they are ready to pay. Should i direct them to transfer money to my normal saving account in SBI/ICICI or should i open a new account. they will be paying me 3000-5000 USD per month for 50 lectures i.e USD 100 per lecture but they will be paying lecturewise not monthwise So what i will be getting is usd 100 or 50 , but frequently in a month. pls also tell me the tax implications here in india ?

As per section 29 of the insurance act an insurance company can give loans or advances to any director, manager,actuary or auditor only on life insurance policy issued to them within surrender value.. Does this provision override section 140 subsection 3 and 4 regarding indebtedness of auditor... it was nowhere mentioned in section 29 of insurance act .

A person is running a business of Hire Cab. This he doing exclusively for earning his livelihood.
He purchased certain cars from a certain Car Company. He found defects in a particular car.
Now he wants to file a case against the car company.
In the above situation is he a consumer as defined under Consumer Protection Act?
Can he file suit as a consumer under Consumer Protection Act ?

Is stamp paper purchased for vendor agreement is valid from the day on which it is purchased, or it can be used for the month in which it is purchased. Like if stamp paper is dated 25th August so agreement should start from current or future date , or it can be used for same month like for agreement period starts from 01st August.
