wrong eps is calculated in profit and loss account . what is the penalty ????

It is a wrong information and I am sure there is no intentional misrepresentation here. This though does not impact the financial statements, but is relevant for investors to take investment decision. I dont think there will be any penalty levied here as it is only a mistake and not fraud or misrepresentation in its true sense.
