Celling no of partners.

In the provision of partnership Act 1932 it is stated that maximum no of partners who can be partner in partnership firm are 10 for banking business & 20 for non banking business.Does it mean that 10 partners can start banking firm in india? If the answer is no,then what is the meaning of such provision?

APPLICABILTY OF EPF ACT

I AM WORKING IN A PARTNERSHIP FIRM ( REGISTERED UNDER PARTNERSHIP ACT) ENGAGED IN REAL ESTATE BUSINESS SINCE THREE YEARS.
IT HAS THREE BRANCHES ALL OVER THE STATE. IT HAS MORE THAN 20 EMPLOYESS. MORE OVER IT IS PLANNING TO OPEN MORE BRANCHES THROUGHOUT THE STATE.

MY QUESTION IS WHETHER EPF ACT APPLIES OR NOT ?

IF YES , HOW AND WHY UNDER EPF ACT ?

AND IF NOT, WHY ?
