Hello, my papa had invested in shares of ANDHRA PETROCHEMICALS LTD and SOUTHERN IRON & STEEL COMPANY LIMITED. He also invested in debentures of MANGALORE REFINERY & PETROCHEMICALS LTD. All these investments were made in 90s. These securities are in physical form right now. My question is that what is the procedure for receiving unclaimed dividend and interest. And please advice, how my papa can my papa sale these securities.

Also I want to know we had paid advance tax for the year 10-11 into SBI A/c in paper challan.But as per NSDL website it is not appearing. What is the reason for that.Please let me know how to rectify the same.

dear friends,i want to know that, is there any restriction on determination of share value in case of unlisted company under companies Act or under any other Act?
for ex: an unlisted company company issued shares at rs.5000/-per share.but it's B/S value has only a value of rs.200/- worth only.so i am asking is it possible to issue shares at rs.5000/- per share.

Please resolve my query that i have lost the original share certificates and i have the photocopies of those share certificates and i did not lodge FIR in this context and today i want to dematerialised those shares

F & O BUSINESS COMES UNDER SPECULATIVE OR BUSINESS INCOME AS PER INCOME TAX ACT ???

Wanted to know if only intraday transactions are to b treated as speculative? What is treatment if the shares are purchased today and sold the following day? Are these to be treated as speculative as well until the delivery of shares in the demat account which then become short term?
My second question is that what is the treatment of F&O transactions. Are these all speculative?
