I would like to know the good CA firms in bangalore.. good in the sense (good exposure)..
i am not sure whether to go for a big four or a good medium sized firm.. please do guide me in this regard

I am appearing in May 2008 final. My three years Articleship ends on 31st Mar 2009.

While I am cracking May 2008 final and joining in a big Corporate in the name of Industrial Trainee, will I be treated as par as a qualified CA (remuneration wise and responsibility wise) by that Corporate? Or Will I be paid more only after 31st March 2009.

Because the balance 9 months is after all a formality - right ? ?

i am 33 years old and passed M com. and PE-II,completed 22 months of articleship in old scheme (before 30-sep-2001),after that i joined a PSU as an Accounts Officer 4 years back with salary of 20000 pm and working now.

Now i am planning to join final course and articleship (remaining 14 months) and do final course to complete my final course and start practice after completing final course.

my question is:
1) whether shall i continue my job in a Central PSU with which i am earning as an office Rs.20000 pm.
2)or can i re-register for articleship and do final course after passing final shall i practice?

3)in the present situation environment whether practice is better or joining for a job is better i dont have any of my frineds or relatives doing practice, i have to start afresh.

please guide me so that i can take quick decision

Hi I have two separate questions :-
1.I am a CA with 2 years post qualification exp ,presently I am working in a manufacturing company for last 5 months in Internal audit dept, recently I have got a job offer from Wipro KPO, I am not sure whether it will be good decision to change job from a mainstrem industry to a KPO, plz advise
2. I am also CS Final student( one group is not cleared ), I am not able to clear Gr1 in last sitting,plz advise whether I should concentrate on CS or start some other courses like DIRM, DISA etc along with CS?

I am planning to take up mutual fund as a career. So will CA qualification be sufficient in order to be an expert in MF field or should i do other course like NCFM,CFA in MF.

Is it beneficial to join CS with CA.
Will it be fruitful for career in future.

Since there was a provision in the CA Act- a qualified CA cannot take-up CFA, but I find some courses (not CFA) offered by ICFAI are for a short duration & which can be taken as refresher courses for a qualified CA.

Could anyone let me know if a CA can take up such courses from ICFAI.

I am planning to take up a course of this Institute - Kindly CONFIRM through some notification, etc if the above provision of the CA Act allows me to do such courses

if i download any of the file from the caclubindia, it will come in some unknown language or words. what must i do to read it...........?
