Change of job & New courses

26 August 2007 Hi I have two separate questions :-
1.I am a CA with 2 years post qualification exp ,presently I am working in a manufacturing company for last 5 months in Internal audit dept, recently I have got a job offer from Wipro KPO, I am not sure whether it will be good decision to change job from a mainstrem industry to a KPO, plz advise
2. I am also CS Final student( one group is not cleared ), I am not able to clear Gr1 in last sitting,plz advise whether I should concentrate on CS or start some other courses like DIRM, DISA etc along with CS?

27 August 2007 1. If you are deciding to come in service industry from manufactring it is not unusual, but what your job profile would be, its core /pivotal issue. you should not loose your basic finance related job .

2.If you finish CS then in service sector its highly probable that you can serve to your concerned orgnaisation through yours dual efficency.

28 August 2007 Raj thanks for your answer.......regarding my second question I need clarification....I have asked whether it will be beneficial for me to join any post qualifiaction course.....or first complete CS then go for some other courses

31 August 2007 I don think u should be worried about CS dude.
Wipro KPO is professionally managed co. most of its top heads are CAs. Lot of growth is there. But it depends on your job profile also. Have a look at the profile you are getting, don worry abt the Co.

05 September 2007 I would also advice since you have completed the valuable degree, so you can take CS as a side course.

And let me tell you KPO is a new concept but a great value in the long run, so gain as much expereince as you can gain.
