I am a student of CA-final year & I m thinking of doing MBA from distance learning .I have also searched out some institutes but I m confused about them. Kindly help me out that which is the best institute from the following for MBA in finance from Distance learning:
1) IGNOU
2) SMU-DE
3) ICAI joint venture with Bhartiyar institute

Plz help me out of this situation....

My queries are as follows:-

(1) At present i am not holding a degree of CA and i have registered to be a Life insurance agent. Can i act as insurance agent and sell policies now and till i get degree. Further, whether i can continue to receive renewal premium commission after getting my COP?

(2) If i wish to make my career in Insurance sector, can i become agent for more than 1 company?. Can i carry out both Life Insurance and General Insurance Agency.? Can i do my own business along with carrying out insurance agency work.

(3) Can i do practice along with business in my name along with holding insurance agency.

(4) Finally, is it worthwhile to enter into insurance agency business now

I had recently passed CA Final in May,10. Whether there are better prospects in the field of practicing or industry ?
Further, i believe that one who joins industry has limited area of work and so he may not be able to get more exposure in various areas due to repetitive sort of work.

I would like to know in the following cases if a CA is allowed to take up another business as a direct marketing/selling agent

1. A CA in practice
2. A CA in full time employment

It would be very helpful if this answer would be clear with regard to the CA Act and/or relevant case laws

I completed my CA in Nov 08. since then I am running my own academy for CA coaching in jalandhar, Punjab.Right now I am earning around 20000/- per month.but as there are small number of students in jalandhar, I don't see much growth in near future. I am confused whether I should continue or join some MNC. the second option is to start practice with coaching classes. but for that i need to possess practical knowledge, which I don't have much. so dear friends kindly suggest me what i should do and if possible how I should start my practice?

I have done BCOM in 2003. & registered for CA PE II. Due to financial problems,I quit. Is it possible me to do it now alogwith job. If yes, what will be the procedure to register? Can I get admission to IPCC directly?

I have 12 years experience & complete Bcom, Mcom & Diploma In Import & Export Management & Goverment Diploma In Coperation & Accounts.

I have experience in Income Tax Assessment , Vat Assessment & Accounts & Finance Also. working as Finance Manager in Pune.

I'm 35 years. & getting Salary 41000/- per months.

I'M average Student I have strong willing to do ICWA.

Is it possible to ICWA with full time job?

Please advice me.
