IS there any time limit for taking membership no. after qualyfying CA final.

Hi All,

I qualified my ca in Nov.'05. till that date i changed three companies having the same profile that is of internal audit,now i am thinking of to prepare for CAT by leaving job for 5-6 months.

Now I have two question sin my mind

i) Is it ok to leave the job for MBA preparation.

ii) Can i get the job after a gap of 5-6 months if i will not selected for MBA.

I AM APPEARING 2008 JUNE ICWAI FINAL STAGE 4 WITHOUT COACHING.REQUESTING SUGGESTIONS FOR PREPARATION.THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Can anybody suggest me about which of the following
CA+CS or CA+MBA would give me better career opportunity in the near future

I am practicing chartered accountant and working in areas of taxation and audit assignemts. I am interested in doing SAP courses offered by CA institute. My query is, whether these courses are really useful for a practicing CA to develop another area of practice? are there any opportunities with CA firms after undergoing these courses? Or the courses are only useful for those who want to join industry? please guide me.

Newly turned CA's are moving into jobs rather than in practise. This will lead to scarcity of jobs till May 2010 when i will become a CA.
