23 March 2008 I am practicing chartered accountant and working in areas of taxation and audit assignemts. I am interested in doing SAP courses offered by CA institute. My query is, whether these courses are really useful for a practicing CA to develop another area of practice? are there any opportunities with CA firms after undergoing these courses? Or the courses are only useful for those who want to join industry? please guide me.

23 March 2008 This course is usful mailnly for those who what to go for servise. if want to do practice then it will not ue much useful for you.

24 March 2008 In my view this course is more useful for the people who are in service. But if u have nay client who are using SAP erp then u can take the basc trainig for that but u dont need to have a full fledged course on that.
U just need reagarding how to access the accounts, trails and balance sheet in SAP.
