I am in confusion as to whether MNC is a right career for Ca's. I hv no intention to practice in future so will mnc be a right choice fr me. Am offered a SAP Functional consulatnt job in a leading MNC as well as investment banking job in a indian company..which one should I choose.

just let me knw if an ACA opens his own firm(assume A) n also becomes a partner in othr firm(assume B) n then applying for an audit in bank or othr public companies, he has to provide d firms background, then can he use d background of d firm B in which he is partner and obtain audit assignmnt for his own firm A, coz in banks it is hard to get statutory audit if d firm is new, plz just let me knw dat....

I am Pramodh Vittal. I need a clarification regarding XBRL.

I have cleared CA in nov 08 examination and currently working as Asst Manager Finance in a medium company. Now i have been offered a job in another company which is engaged in XBRL services ie conversion of financial information in XBRL reporting. If i take up this offer i would be doing tagging job ie interfacing the given financial info in XBRL. They have given me same Asst manager designation and this is also same turnover company just 5 years old. Will it be helpful for my career in 5 years down the line. Can i take up this offer.

I am a B.Sc. Maths graduate and have done MBA HR thro distance education. I have work experience of 4 yrs only in a BPO in India. I got married and am currently in Muscat. I am looking out for a job but I am really helpless as there are no BPO's here. Can you ppl give me suggestions on how to improve my career. Also, can u guys let me know of any work from home jobs?
