or Ask the institute after ICWAI inter completion for the practical trainning???

My name is Sandeep Gupta and am 28 years old. I completed my Gradution in B.Com (Pass) from School of Open Learning Delhi University in 2006 and since then I am working in field of Finance & Accounts on various profiles.

Now I want to enhance my skills and knowledge in the field of Accounts & Taxation for better career opportunities and for some family restraints I cant pursue full time CA at this point of my career. And I am not getting the desired opportunities because I am under qualified for such oppotunities.

So I have learnt that ICWA has started Competent Accounting Technician (CAT) course for those working professionals who have sufficient working experience but cant do CA for some reason and for those professionals who had to quit their CA for some reason.

So I want know what is the scope of this CAT course and it is worth while to give it a shot at this point of my career how it will assist to boost my career.

My friend has completed his CFP n nw he is thinking of pursuing FRM... Is CFP + FRM a good combination to demand great salary n job...in India?? Or he should do something else?

Please advise.

I completed CS executive in June 2010 , and CWA inter also .Before well that , I completed 3 years as Fanance Manager in a company with a paid up capital of more than 3 crores and a turnover of 35 crores and i was in the charge of Company secretarial functions.


Shall I get exemtion from training from CS and CWA? If available , then

When I have to apply for exemtion , after passing Professional Programme / final or now?

I have selected in F&DS in Deloitte Hyd. My DOJ is 4th oct 2010.. i m presently working in internal audit in my present org, i.e Jindal inds. wat shud i prepare regarding the trade i.e F&DS till the time of Joining, so as to get a better knowledge of the trade

I am a company secretary with 15 months CS training experience in a company. I intend to enter into SAP-FICO field.I have heard that CA/ICWA are preferred in this field.Are there any avenues for Company Secretary to enter into this field.

I Am In CA Final And Also Doing CS.Whether I Am Required To Under Go The Trainings Such As TDP,AOP,PDP(Articleship)etc.
