Should we opt for CFA after CA.

Sir, I m an M.Com having a working experience of 6.5 yrs as Accounts Officer in State Electricity Board. What professional qualification would be a real value addition for me? & what r the opportunities that I can opt to switch for a better carrier?

which one is better with ca + bcom cs or cma or llb????

Please tell me about my shortcomings on which i must focus...i am a CA and doing a job with a very less package and poor profile.
I given an interview last week and conversation was as follows:-
Ques-Tell Me something about yourself starting from your schooling,articleship,CA,present job?
Ans:-I did my schooling from a govt.school,graduation from zakir hussain college and qualified in nov.2009.presently i am associated with____________Ltd. and before that i was associated with a __________CA firm and worked there for a year.

Ques:-Why do you want to change a job?
Ans:-For career growth.

Ques:-We are working in SAP do you have any SAP exposure?
Ans:-I have worked in SAP display mode only.
the he replied no problem we have a SAP professional he does all the entries you are not supposed to enter the data.

Ques:-How good you are in accounting entries?
Ans:-I had the relevant experience.

Ques:-Ok...just write some accounting entries..take a pen and paper.....i had to pay warehousing charges of Rss.150000?

Ans:-Warehousing charges Dr......150000
To Vendor..........................150000

Vendor Dr........................1500000
To Bank.........................150000

Then he smiles and said what about service tax and tds you did not make entry here....
i said yes i forgot to make an entry of tds.

Ques:-Ok.......do another entry.....i have purchased goods from Agra @ vat 5% for Rs.100000.
Ans:-Purchase Dr...........100000
Vat input Dr...............500
To Vendor.......................100500

he said i have purchased goods from agra then why did you aaply vat here i said sorry i have to apply CST.

Ques:-He asked suppose i have to return goods which i have purchased then which note i will issue Debit note or credit note?
Ans:-I said Debit note.

Ques:-He asked what is Revised Schedule VI?
Ans:-Schedule Vi is a format to prepare financial statement.certain amendments was there in 2011. format of p & l was specified which was not there in the old one.current and non current classification of assets and liabilities have been specified.

Ques:-How good you are in excel?
Ans:-I have relevant experience in excel.so i am ok with it.

Ques:-Can you handle pressure as i have to deal foreign clients so i require a person who can handle the reporting part like MIS,service tax,tds,accounts?
Ans-Yes i can handle but if you are asking about late sitting then franckly speaking i can't as you know i am married and i have some responsibilities.Inspite of that i can come early in the morning i required.

Hi everyone..I've done basic level work in VAT,CST,Service tax,Custom and Excise in last 1.5 yrs...I want to switch IDT profile as a tax consultant ...Now anyone can tell me do Big fours and corporates hire freshers in IDT profile...I'm not willing to join Firms...
