c9- new challan
while uploading at karvy both options got selected. but we got ackonlwdgement for c9 correction. is it correct or am i need to go again correction filling.

Is any court fees required to be paid on Form 35 or on the copy of assessment order?? 2. is the assessment order copy required to be certified?? if yes... by whom?? 3. which Assessment year to be filled in challan while depositing appeal fees?? I have query pertaining to applicability of provision of section 194IA wherein advance consideration for the property amounting Rs. 74 lakhs out of total Rs. 110 lakhs has been paid before June 01, 2013. I want to know whether provisions of section 194IA will be applicable to the same. Further will also request you to please confirm whether answer of the above mentioned question will change in case of more than 1 trasferors/transferee.

My C.A.told us that we are developing the property on our own and not doing a Joint Venture with any third party ( builders) so it is not mandatory to form a partnership or AOP. We can execute a project jointly as a proprietory business. Is it according to Income tax law? Please guide me in this.

I purchased an under construction apartment in may2008 from builder under housing loan (through article of agreement document for which full payment was made to builder in may 2008 itself) and received possession via a sale deed in jan 2013. I needed to know
1. Whether I can avail of long term capital gain tax or short term tax?
2. If short term tax, can I deduct the interest paid on the loan for these years - as cost ofacquisition - considering that thesehave been over and above expenses paid to the loan bank. Or is it only the cost of purchase +stsmp duty+registration that is to be deducted from the sale amount for cakculation if capital gain tax?
3. In case of short termcapital gain, if I reinvest the profits on sale in the same financial year, can I save on this tax?

i invested over the last three yeara 5 lacs a year (total 15 lacs) in an insurance scheme...the returns were very poor..as a consequence liquidated the policy...the 15 lac investment shrank to about 14.5 lacs ...a loss of 50000. can this loss be written off against profits ?
