Dear Sir,

I am filling the ITR online.
In TDS section Which Amount "Income chargeable under Salaries" should I mentioned from Form 16. Is it Gross Salary (Column 1 of Form 16)or Income chargeable under the head 'Salaries'(Column 6 of Form 16)

Dear Experts,

I plan to sell my house which is under staff housing loan.Interest on housing loan was not actually paid but claimed for every AY. Now the accrued interest amounts to Rs 12 lakhs which is to be paid to bank when the sale is executed. Can I add it to cost of acqusition for reducing capital gain.

Sale of house property

Hi. Im 50yrs old. I own a house in ambathur chennai. Im residing there for more than 20yrs. My son need money to start a business. So i decided to sell my house and give him the money partly or fully. Vil i be taxed for selling my house.

Return filling AY 2016-17

I want to file Nil return for AY 2016-17 due date already passed away so now is that any penalty or interest will occur? And it's mandatory to first file return for AY 2016-17 and after that only I should file return for AY 2017-18?

Divorce alimony : taxable or not

Hi,
There was an agreement on stamp paper between both husband and wife that husband will pay an fixed amount of alimony to wife.( Mutual agreement, no court order). After divorce, the entire amount of alimony was paid IN CASH.
Whether this alimony received in cash would be taxable. If not, then pls provide sections concerned or judgement.

Tds deduct u/s 194j

Dear Sir,

I am a contract employee in a pvt ltd. company. They are deducting my TDS u/s 194J Rs. 12K approx . I am working with a single company.Please tell me that my deduct TDS amount will be refunded by which filling of Income Tax return form.
