I am very confused as in from where to study Audit from? My friends told me about many study materials like J.K.Shah notes, other prof. notes. But i think for a rank and to score good marks in Audit MODULE is best but the language is very diffiult in module?

Honourable expert,i want to know about the ceiling of audit for a C.A.There is a mention in the notification no.1-CA(7)/53/2001 abt the restriction imposed on the ceiling of the audit.is the maximum limit of audit 30 companies (including pvt. ltd. companies) as given in ICAI AUDIT MODULE.THE LAW SAY OTHERWISE .Pls guide me in this matter as non complince of the ceiling of audit as per ICAI Notification amounts to Professional Misconduct.

Wether company deduct and paid professional tax on half yearly basis?

a pvt ltd company,whose name was changed due to JOINT VENTURE.but after joint venture company purchases material,then invoice issued by parties in old name.
and telephone & electicity bill and some other exp. also issued in company old name.can any problem to company for claiming these expences.

if any pvt ltd co. paid for petrol of motorcar(ownership of co.) which used by director.
whether it should be debited to repair & maintenance of motorcar a/c or convyance a/c.
