Pl advise, whether Asseesse's brother's wife/son shall be covered in pt18 of 3CD.

(payments made to persons specified under section 40A(2)(b))

- in case of individual
- in case assessee is partner in a firm & firm makes payment to his brother's wife/son

Can anyone tell me, if the service rendered by interior decorater to the company,whether Tds u/s 194j and vat is deductable?? company already capitalised the same..

TDS on Agents

i've heard from quite a few of my collegues that we don't have to deduct tds on service rendered by travel agents.(For booking tickets). is it true?? and why such an exemption for them??
