29 January 2010 Hi All,
Can anyone tell me, if the service rendered by interior decorater to the company,whether Tds u/s 194j and vat is deductable?? company already capitalised the same..

29 January 2010 for services of interior decorator TDS u/s 194J will be applicable.
For VAT I couldn't understand your question VAT is not deductible. It is tax if he has sold something to you then he will charge on bill.
Company capitalised it has no effect because TDS is on services not for what purpose services is used.
