I want to start practice with my partner.We want to register our CA firm. How can we check the availability of the firm's name??

I am going to write my CA Final Exams (Both Groups ) in May 2013,
I had a confusion about One subject i.e Corporate & Allied Laws, Can anybody suggest me which book should I prefer, wich is enough for my exams besides I wanted to do minimum 2 or 3 revisions before Examinations,so that anybody can suggest me best book.

My Own Plan for preparation is One Practice Mannual and 2 recent Past RTPs and Last 6 attmpt suggested Answers.Wether my planing is sufficent to meet the exam requiremnt.Pls suggest me.

The company has reached the threshold limit of Rs. 9 lakhs and is now required it register under the service tax act. Hence the board has decided to obtain centralized registration under the service tax act at Bangalore office.The company having the Head Office in cochine and Branch officein bangalore.and they want to register under service taxas centralised registration.Now for the centralised registration i want a format of Board resolution.please can you send the format of Board Resolution for centralised registration?

What is the difference between Secondment and Industrial Training?
I have completed 1 year of articleship and want to take secondment in 2nd year. is it possible.

I got 343/400 marks in IPCC G-1 and waiting for the G-2 result. I tried for articleship in top-30 firms but got no response as i had no reference . Now i got a chance to join N.C. Mittal & Co. which is a mid-size firm .I am confused should I join this firm or not because it doesn't allow transfer and too it doesn't provide time to study because of heavy load of work and also there are lesser chances of job security . Should I wait for G-2 result and try again for top firms or join this firm immediately?

Please guide whether i will have to transfer registration of pcc to ipcc if i wish to appear in NOV 2013. Further i would like u to know that i have'nt appeared for pcc exams since Nov 2010. My registration in pcc is from oct 2007...

I am facilitating import of metal scrap from Europe for a few buyers in India and on there behalf done negotiations regarding mode of payment with the supplier.Our buyers want to be safe and so we have negotiated on terms where we have to transfer funds only after we inspect the product at destination port.The supplier is accepting payment only through SBLC or Bank Guarantee but not through a regular L/C.This was a bit strange and so we inquired and got to know that even through partial fulfillment of documentation the supplier can get the funds transferred in case of SBLC.As there are a lot of cases of importers getting duped in international trade paying for the actual product and getting substandard product afterwards.So please advice regarding the safest payment way & in our case we should go for a SBLC or Bank Guarantee.
